Shop / Business name:
Iyobo Design

What you make:
Polymer clay and fine silver jewellery

How did you know you were crafty / artistic?
I always enjoyed creating something myself, tried many different things, but I think it's jewellery making which I love the best. : )

What was the first thing you ever made?
When I was a child I was knitting, and sewing (with hand) clothes for my dolly

Do you have any formal training or who taught you what you know?
I'm self taught in all crafts I tried.

How did your craft business come about?
I wanted to stay at home with my baby. And though I tried to find a job, but because I was not successful, decided to turn my newest hobby into a proper business.

Where and when do you do your crafting?
At home, and whenever my daughter lets me do it, mostly when she is asleep.

Tell me something surprising about yourself:
wow, that's tough, can't think of anything surprising!

Which Folksy / Etsy shop can you not get enough of?
I can only talk aboutFolksy... Have loads of favourites, some of them are: Cheerymishmash, Mochalulu, Blue Fish Handmade.

Why is handmade / crafting important to you?
I don't like the mass produced low quality items all over the shops, would love to find a way how to introduce handmade, unique items to all consumers.

Is it just me or is crafting really hot right now?
Yes, it is! : )

Tell me why I should buy something from you!
Because my items are unique and were all made with love. They are colourful, sparkling and very pretty : )

Ok you’ve got me convinced! Where can I find you?
