Folksy Friday - Famous Birthdays 30th July

I've said it before but I think this might be my favourite date so far!  Here are today's celebrity birthdays in Folksy Friday style!

Emily Bronte
Author of Wuthering Heights and middle sis' of Charlotte and Anne. Quite dead though (she'd be 192 if she weren't!).  She was only 33 when she died from TB.

Lisa Kudrow
Everyone's favourite Friend apart from those who preferred the other ones.  My favourite Phoebe moment is when she thought she was changing the channel on the tv by blinking.

Kate Bush
Whaddaya know!  First Emily Bronte and now Kate Bush!  Who would thunk it?!  I love Kate because she's a very very odd lady.  Sometimes her singing makes me very happy and sometimes it makes me want to run away but nevertheless she has a special place in my heart and reminds me of my friend Ruth who is also quite odd but very lovable!

Clay babooshka by vintage twist

Henry Ford
Founder of the ford motor vehicle company and revolutioniser of motor vehicles with his Model T automobile!  He was always inventing stuff and was awarded 161 patents.  Gosh.  Dead. Also.

Clive Sinclair
Speaking of inventors, Clive Sinclair is 70 today - what did he invent?  ONLY THE POCKET CALCULATOR!

Jazzed up jotters by The Border Tart

Tom Green
Hmm, I watched Freddy Got Fingered and I must say I wasn't very impressed.  Saying that, comedian Tom Green has his moments.  He was married to Drew Barrimore I believe?

Jean Reno
French actor Jean, star of Leon is 62 today.  I like Jean but often confuse him with whatsisname...Peter Stormare!  Does this happen to anyone else or is it just me?  I know who they both are but for some reason they're interchangable in my mind (other examples include Kevin Costner and Harrison Ford)
Pierre - the French bear by Rosie Plumpton

Daley Thompson
Yay! My Mum fancies you Daley Thompson!  Why don't they make Start anymore?  He's 52 today.

Black Moustache Disguise by Lupin

Laurence Fishburne
Or Orpheus as he's better known to me!  Which is wrong because the character he plays in The Matrix is Morpheus!  He's not very good in CSI but i still like him.  He's 49 today.

Hilary Swank
I watched a film starring Hilary not that long ago called Reaper, it was rubbish but I still like Hilary.  She seems smart y'know?  She's 36 today!

Simon Baker
The Mentalist star Simon Baker is 41 today.  Is he Australian?  Wikipedia says yes!  Funnily enough I also watched a film (well, the first few mins) with him in the other day....it had zombies in it!

Jurgen Klinsmann
According to Mr Kapow! Jurgen Klinsmann is a good Footerer.  I looked him up and he has a nice face.  He's 46 today!
